I was coming to ask what the previous posters asked. Are these ladies from one of your photo sessions? They flipped the image to make it hard to do an image search for this. This makes me angry! I would hate for someone to take my images and do this to me and my daughter! Please write a blog post concerning this pic so that many of us can difinitively say that that evil story is a hoax!

I will contact our clients to see how much they want their story out there. I can say this, though: our copyrighted image of our clients was stolen and the stories/twitter accounts etc. have been complete fabrication. I've been reading people's comments and shares, the shock, the rudeness, etc. and I am completely sickened. Comments I posted on their FB page were removed. Sonya
Regarding the use of your lovely, copyrighted photo, to create a disgusting article article on the Stupid.com website, I took your advice and went to their Facebook page. Here is the comment I left there, and please forgive the capital letters and such, I wanted them to know how evil their actions were and how angry I got when I found out about it. It was so wrong on so many levels:
"Why did you steal the COPYRIGHTED image of a mother and daughter from a blog on http://www.thinkinaboutbeauty.blogspot.com/ to use it in a totally fake article about a lesbian incestual couple? It's not only an inflammatory lie, IT'S ILLEGAL. What you need to do, but you won't, is issue an apology and correction on your website that this was NOT a true story and you STOLE a copyrighted image that you had NO BUSINESS using for your sick article. Whether it was a deliberate hoax or a failed attempt at sick humor, or an effort to bash gays, it's cruel and just plain gauche!"
I hope that they eventually stop using your picture, and delete the article, it is so horrible. I apologize just as a fellow human being that people do such things!
I also wanted to point out to you that the Twitter account was created on September 14th.
I have a suspicion that the Twitter account was created by a Facebook page called "The Bible Is Against Homosexuality". They posted the article about the mother daughter on September 14th, 5 days after the article was originally posted. They were immediately met with criticism for posting a "satire".

Two days later they have shared the Twitter page (created on the same day that they posted the article) as "proof" that these women exist and are trying to get their many followers to believe that it is indeed a true story.

I don't know if it is them for sure, but it seems very likely, and even if they haven't created the Twitter account, they are still pushing the story as fact, sadly.

I think we all need a wake-up call about the internet and social media.
There are at least twelve pages of sites regurgitating this false info and only a few trying to find the truth. So much time wasted and nasty things said back and forth. And some precious people, though they are not really the targets, feel like it, because it's their image everyone's talking about and posting everywhere. S

Mama thanks for calling out Naija news lies! Why would people even keep this entire mess going? If I were either one of these ladies in the pic there would be hell to pay! To defame them and make them look like incestuous people and to take such a nice pic from a blog post promoting Mother's Day to distill vile images of unspeakable acts! Wow what is this world really coming to? I originally bought the lie about the post from the stupids from stuppid and since then took it down and wrote an apology to these ladies just because I couldn't even fathom what they are going through with family and friends if they have seen this and people bought this lie. I'm not contributing to the humiliation and disgrace. Please tell these ladies I'm sorry I pray this gets turned around and that this has not impacted them in any way of their livelihood and way of life. It's a really nice pic of them in this light....
This is horrible and I'm going to flood both pages/groups with anti-hate messages. I feel so bad for the site that has genuinely posted a picture of mother and daughter being nothing more than a mother and daughter. The sites that are lying about this dishonorable and despicable act will pay the the price for posting hatred. Wake up sites this is consider a hate crime punishable to the fullest extent of the law. I got this story already in Portuguese from one of my Facebook mates. I promptly check to see if that could be true somehow. Then I have alerted my connections of the Hoax they are helping to spread out. Hope it ends soon.

You can get twitter to remove them but first ladies document everything. Just wanted to mention that SNOPES.COM is doing their part to quash this truly offensive/bigoted/racist/&c fabrication.
This has been a horrible time for our clients and a drain on us as we try our best to help stop this madness. Both of us have taken breaks just to live life.
It is a complex situation which I hope will get justice.
For now, we request that you remove the photo and story from your websites (thank you to those who have). You have no right to post the photo in the first place without proper reference to the source (Yes, stuppid.com was the first to break that rule but most of you did not credit them even) and the story is false and disgusting.
Second, please refrain from accusing "anti-gay" groups. They are no worse than anyone else who believe the story was true. There is no way they would come up with such a perverse story with accompanying perverse tweets.
Third, thank you to those who commented on the stuppid.com facebook page. The story has at least been removed from there. Still on website and twitter still carrying.
Fourth, thank you to all those who have searched for the truth and are trying to tell the truth.
Last, if you do pray, please pray for our clients and us in this situation. That good will come out of it and evil will be stopped. Thank you!
